Summary:

Performs floor care duties and other cleaning tasks throughout the main campus of Lakes Regional Healthcare and the Milford Facility that promote a safe and sanitary environment. Responsibilities include general preventative and reactive maintenance duties such as inspecting and repairing equipment, the facility and its systems. Maintains hardwood floors including daily disinfection as well as routine waxing; maintains carpeted areas including daily care as well as routing extraction and cleaning. Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and other duties as assigned. Security duties include securing and opening the facility on a daily basis and responding to Security concerns. During a snow event, the candidate will be responsible for snow removal from sidewalks and facility exits using a tractor and shovel.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience:

Floor care experience helpful.  Must be able to operate small yard equipment effectively.  Must have a valid driver’s license and be physically able to drive a vehicle.
